A chunky & luminous Baroque Freshwater Pearl with Carnelian Stone beads, strung on silk-like wire and finished with a 14k Gold Fill or 925 Sterling Silver lobster clasp.
Carnelian derives its deep orange colour from iron oxide, considered an ‘impurity’ in the microcrystalline quartz. Without the presence of this oxide, the stone would be translucent and void of this rich and intense colour.
For those who subscribe to stone symbolism, Carnelian is also known as ‘the artist's stone’, stimulating playful creativity, overcoming fear and bringing motivation to the forefront of ourselves.
