Pearls are porous in nature, meaning they like to slowly absorb anything that is directly touching them. To maintain their luminous lustre, keep away from perfume, body oils and moisturisers. You can wipe them down with a soft cloth if they have some into contact with any of these abrasives. Store your pearls in their box, or on a soft, non-abrasive surface.
14k Gold Fill hardware is durable and will last a very long time so long as it's treated well. Don't get it wet or sweaty. If you do, remove it and wipe it down with a soft cloth. You can gently clean your Gold Fill jewellery in warm soapy water, and dry with a soft cloth. Store your Gold Fill pieces in their box, or on a non-abrasive surface.
