About

I never intended to start a jewellery business. I was almost ready to launch a full blown ceramic super store, when I decided to put tools down and pause. After founding a brick and mortar store on Greville Street in Prahran many moons ago (do you remember?), I needed a proper break to retreat inwards and stand still for a bit.

When I decided to make a few special pieces of jewellery, for a few special people, I soon found a space of my very own that felt true to me and where I am placed in life for the moment. I am a mother to three very young humans, and in between snack time, nap time and be-on-call-for-everyone-all-the-time, I get to do this - make slow beaded & fine jewellery, for you & yours.

Creating jewellery, slowly and with intention, is the kind of mediative creative outlet I have been looking for. I am so happy to have landed here. And thank you for landing here with me too.

My pieces are designed to be playful and melodic, balanced and easy wearing. My precious metal jewellery is hand sculpted and carved (by me) and then cast locally in recycled silver & gold. All my pieces are finished and finessed by me, before making their way to you. The gemstones used in my precious metal jewellery are sourced ethically from Australian gem cutters and each stone is traceable.

Each piece is created in small batches in my home studio in Fitzroy North, Melbourne. I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land that I live and work, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation and their ongoing connection to land, waterways and culture. It is a great privilege to be able to work and raise my family on this land.
